(PINKSHEETS: UMED), a Texas Corporation, is pleased to announce the acquisition of an 80% interest in Mamaki of Hawaii, Inc., owner and operator of Wood Valley Plantation, the only commercially approved and certified Mamaki herbal tea farm in the world.
Kevin Bentley, CEO of UMED, said, "The addition of Mamaki of Hawaii gives UMED the ability to enter a rapidly growing U.S. and worldwide health related beverage market further diversifying our holding company as well as adding immediate cash flow."
Mamaki of Hawaii, Inc. is currently growing, harvesting, processing and marketing Mamaki herbal tea to select domestic retail outlets as well as large commercial and retail clients.
