Online gambling, through mobile and social networks, is fuelling the boom in global gaming

Much of this growth is due to an expansion in the online gambling market - the number of people using online gambling sites increased by 32% between 2010 and 2011. Aside from mobile, social media gaming is proving a lucrative way for online gambling sites to attract to new users. Already one billion hours each month are spent playing games on Facebook and 44% of social gamers expect to play more games on social networks in the future. The gaming market is changing and new ways of gambling are coming to the fore.
