MKM Merges With RED The Agency Inc., Positions RED for Growth in Western Canada
RED The Agency becomes one of western Canada's fastest growing advertising agencies
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/12 -- RED The Agency has entered into an agreement to merge Edmonton-based MKM (Margaret Kool Marketing) into its existing operations. The two full-service advertising agencies have a combined staff of 40 and annual gross revenues of more than $20 million, including media expenditures. Both are privately owned, independent agencies.

was founded in Edmonton in 2001 by partners Lori Billey and Monique Fikar-Janower. Randy Cronin joined as partner and Director of Strategy in 2003, followed by Creative Director, Ryan Kelly in 2007. The agency opened its Vancouver office in 2007.

MKM was founded in Edmonton in 1990 by Margaret Kool and Andy Feher as Margaret Kool Marketing. Kool and Feher will both continue to provide strategic counsel to support key clients. MKM clients include Merit Contractors Association, the Alberta Construction Safety Association, Medicine Shoppe Canada, King's University College and University of Alberta International.
RED has built a reputation on the work of its award-winning creative team and has an expanding presence in online, social and interactive media. Clients are diverse and include OK Tire, Canadian Western Bank, Western Canada Lottery Corporation, EPCOR, Brookfield Residential and the Government of Alberta. Founders Fikar-Janower and Billey were recently listed on the list of Canada's top female entrepreneurs.
