Health Faire and Facility Tour With Appearances by Former Chargers Player John Carney, the Charger Girls, Encinitas Mayor Jerome Stocks, a Raffle Benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Activities for the Children
(firmenpresse) - ENCINITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/12 -- On Saturday, September 29th Imaging Healthcare Specialists held a grand opening event to celebrate the opening of their newly expanded state-of-the-art medical imaging location in Encinitas, California. The event kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Encinitas Mayor Jerome Stocks followed by an appearance from former Chargers placekicker, John Carney, and the Charger Girls. The free event was open to the public and provided a first look at the new high-tech facility as well as various attractions.
Board Certified Radiologists were available to answer questions as guests toured the state-of-the-art facility. Additionally, a health faire featuring healthcare providers from North Coast Health Center took place throughout the event. A raffle for big prizes including an iPad & iPods raised valuable funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Children delighted in such activities as a jump house, face painting and a balloon artist while food trucks -- Not So Fast and Sweet Treats -- and Jamba Juice satiated attendee appetites.
