Chelton to Hold Storage Auction on October 20, Several Self Storage Rentals Available

The storage auction is located at Chelton Self Storage at 1950 Delta Drive in Colorado Springs. Anyone interested in bidding on a storage unit or learning more about storage auctions is invited to attend the event.
Chelton Self Storage has held several storage unit auctions in the past, and looks forward to another fun, successful event. In the past, the self storage facility has had over 80 people attend each event. Storage units were sold at an average price of $200, but covered a broad range of price points that can meet anyone's budget. The auctions are very similar to the format of the popular A&E television show "Storage Wars." Units are never sifted through beforehand and only a visual inspection is allowed before bidding; the lock is cut right before the bidding begins.
The storage facility will be auctioning off 17 units. It will be the first of three back-to-back auctions in Colorado Springs. 20 additional units will be sold at two other facilities. Stor-N-Lok, located at 1625 LaShelle Way, holds its auction at noon. Interstate Secure Storage, located at 330 Karen Lane, will hold its auction at 1:30 PM. All storage auctions will take cash or credit card as payment immediately on the completion of each unit sale. It is advised that bidders bring their own lock to secure any purchased units, but locks may be purchased on site if needed. Bidders should also bring a flashlight and dress for inclement weather conditions.
