To be considered for the list, companies had to have annual sales of at least $300,000 through June 2010 and show at least 15 percent growth in revenue for the 12 months through June of this year compared to the same period two years ago. According to the publication, "All had to come through the recent recession and post impressive gains during a slow and sometimes spotty recovery."
