Non cash payment by using near field communication cards (NFC cards) is on the rise. Near field communication (NFC) technology makes contactless payment more comfortable und faster as the cards can stay in the wallet. Yet, whenever contactless data transfer is possible, data privacy is at stake and personal data protection is an important issue.
