OTR Welcomes Zachary Karabell to Research Team
(firmenpresse) - PURCHASE, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 10/09/12 -- As a way to expand (OTR®) already comprehensive research coverage, Zachary Karabell joins as senior strategist to spearhead a bi-weekly macro commentary based upon observations from OTR research. Zachary will bring his unique perspective to OTR's global channel research to derive macro observations, unique perspectives and relevant insights. His work will be based upon data and intelligence developed from OTR's over 50 panels from 18 countries around the world combined with his own analysis of the most pressing issues and important trends.

Zachary served as executive vice president, head of marketing and chief economist at Fred Alger Management, a New York-based investment firm. He was also president of Fred Alger and Co., as well as portfolio manager of the firm's China-U.S. Growth Fund. Educated at Columbia, Oxford and Harvard, where he received his Ph.D., Zachary is the author of eleven books. He is a regular commentator on national news programs, such as CNBC and CNN, a frequent columnist for Time and a contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Washington Post, The New Republic, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and Foreign Affairs.
