Naxos of America Launches Four Labels for Distribution
(firmenpresse) - FRANKLIN, TN -- (Marketwire) -- 10/09/12 -- Belarca, Claudio Records, Enchiriadis and Liverpool Philharmonic have begun distribution partnerships with the #1 independent classical music distributor in the United States and Canada, Naxos of America.
Belarca was founded by American composer William Susman and is the label for the visionary OCTET ensemble. Its mission is to record and widely disseminate contemporary music by living composers who push artistic boundaries. With a catalogue of both concert works and film scores, Belarca maintains an impeccable recording quality and the highest standards in sound. Each album features extraordinary performances by some of the world's finest soloists and ensembles.
Founded in 1978, Claudio Records' quest for perfection in natural sound reproduction is well established and respected. Combined with world class artists and technical innovation, they cover the whole range of classical, contemporary and eclectic repertoire. Claudio's recordings provide the ultimate satisfaction in HD music reproduction and are designed to be definitive.
The Enchiriadis label was created in 2000 by Raúl Mallavibarrena with two main purposes: To promote in the record industry what Musica Ficta and Ensemble Fontegara were planning in the domains of Renaissance and Baroque music and to help new artists to become well known in the world of Early music. Enchiriadis has made a name for several Spanish, Italian, Swiss and Japanese artists and ensembles which have growing international influence. The recorded repertoire spans from Medieval Music to XVIII century with a special stress in Spanish music.
Liverpool Philharmonic's own label builds on a long history of successful in-house recordings on RLPO Live which was established in 1998 by musicians of the orchestra. Liverpool Philharmonic was the first UK orchestra to launch its own recording label.
