Chicago Dentist Attends Annual Implant Dentistry Meeting

During the first week of October, Dr. Hoffman attended the AAID's 61st annual meeting. The meeting, held in Washington, DC, focuses on debating the options for practical solutions in regard to implant dentistry.
The meeting is designed to facilitate a discussion in response to implant dentistry's evolving practices. With the continued onset of innovative technology and techniques in the field, dentists are presented with an increasing number of decisions on how to perform procedures. The AAID aims to "bring together the world's experts in implant dentistry to debate several options of treating a similar situation allowing [the dentist] to develop practical solutions."
Dr. Hoffman, who has worked for the past thirty years in , is dedicated to remaining on the cutting-edge of the field. About Larry Hoffman, DDS
is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Science degrees. Afterward, Dr. Hoffman gained experience during a rotating internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is one of the earliest innovators in the field of implant dentistry, and developed implant and re-implantation techniques. Dr. Hoffman and his cutting-edge implant work have been featured in People Magazine. He has also appeared on CBS, NBC, ABC, and many other networks to discuss aspects of cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Hoffman has been an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry since 1969. He has also been an active fellow of the AAID since 1990, and served on the Board of Directors in 1992, 1993, 1995, and 1996. In addition, during his tenure he has served as president, vice president, and treasurer of the AAID Central District. In 1999, Dr. Hoffman was scientific chairman of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry General Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
