signotec signature app certified by TÜV Saarland
(PresseBox) - signotec GmbH, based in Ratingen, Germany, receives certification from TÜV Saarland for its ?signoSign/mobile? signature software. signotec is therefore authorised to bear the coveted ?Tested App? seal. The software was specially developed for use on tablets such as the iPad. The app allows you to capture legally binding signatures in electronic documents, anytime and anywhere.
The certification is the result of an audit successfully conducted by expert appraisers from tekit Consult Bonn GmbH, a specialised subcontractor of the TÜV Saarland Group. The requirements according to the ?Certified App V1.0? specifications and the latest ?Certified App? test criteria were fulfilled.
A battery of tests involving attempts to manipulate data were conducted to check the ease of use, data transfer security and overall data security. The app provides effective mechanisms to ensure that sensitive data cannot be mined. Any subsequent changes made to the signed PDF document are detected immediately.

The GPS data on the location of the signature can also be stored in order to further increase the evidentiary value. The software supports PDF archive standard PDF/A-1b (ISO 19005-1:2005) and complies with BiPRO Standard 262. This defines the method for providing signatures in insurance industry business processes where documents requiring a declaration of consent are used.
With ?signoSign/mobile?, signotec GmbH has developed signature software for use on mobile devices that allows the user to sign PDF documents on the devices. You can use the iPad to sign PDF documents directly on the mobile device?s screen. This guarantees a seamless workflow without any media discontinuity.
