Arrowhead Annual and Special Meeting Results

(the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: AWH) is pleased to announce at the annual and special meeting of the shareholders of Arrowhead Gold Corp. held on October 5, 2012, in Vancouver BC., the shareholders of the corporation:
Elected Steve Smith, Iqbal Boga, Zachery Dingsdale, Rick Timcke, and Derrick Strickland to the board of directors until the next annual meeting;
Mark Fekete did not run for re-election and the Company wishes to thank Mark for his contributions over the years.
Appointed De Visser Gray LLP to be auditor of the corporation for the financial year ending August 31, 2013, and authorized the board of directors to fix the remuneration of the auditor;
Approved the rolling stock option plan more fully described in the information circular dated as of September 5, 2012 (available for viewing on SEDAR);
Approved the proposed three-for-one consolidation of the company's issued and outstanding common shares;
Approved the proposed two-for-one consolidation of the company's issued and outstanding common shares;
The Board of Directors are authorized to select one consolidation ratio from the above two options and implement such option if they chose to do so;
Subsequent to the annual and special meeting, the board of directors reappointed the following people as officers of the corporation until the next general meeting:
Steve Smith, President & CEO;
Iqbal Boga, CFO & Corporate Secretary.
