Passions Photography Opens New Studio Bringing World Flavor to Local Community
(firmenpresse) - ROSELLE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/15/12 -- Passions Photography () announces the grand opening of its new studio location near downtown Roselle, bringing an international flavor to the community. Owner Jessica Rifis, a travel, lifestyle, and portrait photographer, founded the business in 2006. Rifis now brings her talent to DuPage County with the opening of Passions Photography in Roselle at 46 E Irving Park Road, Suite 100.
"Roselle is a vibrant, friendly city with a touch of that old 'sitting on the front porch' charm, and I'm very excited about being a part of the community," said Rifis. "My mission is to offer more than just images, but to express something artistic, fun, and intimate through my photography services."
Passions Photography will be showcasing a new exhibit called "Journey" at an open house on Saturday, November 3rd from 3-7pm at the studio. On display will be images from Rifis' recent photography tour through eight countries. The gallery show is a reflection of her experience traveling through France, England, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, China, and the USA.
Rifis began her photography career in Hawaii capturing world-class surfers in the Vans Triple Crown competition. Her works from the surfing photo shoot were featured in Surfer Magazine as well as a nautical clothing merchandise magazine.
Jessica has captured a number of significant world events on film, including Mayor Giuliani speaking after 9/11, the anniversary of the Red Shirt/Yellow Shirt Revolt in Thailand, the festivities of the Chinese New Year's "Year of the Dragon," and religious monks in their everyday lives. She also specializes in portrait photography for families, babies and children, senior portraits, and weddings.

For photographer Jessica Rifis, life has always consisted of a series of passions from photography to surfing, traveling, and culture. She believes it is such a great blessing to incorporate all of these passions into her life that her business is named from it. Passions Production Co., Inc. was founded in 2006 with the idea of offering more than photography, but a production of art services that cater to people who want something artistic, fun and intimate.
