Transition to Digital Regulatory Review Featured at International Code Council (ICC) Annual Conference in Portland, OR
ICC-Accredited Education, Training and Emerging Best-Practices Offerings to Assist Code Officials in Streamlining Plan Review, Paperless Business Processes

The Company, in its capacity as a member of the Fiatech Regulatory Streamlining Committee (RSC), has been slated to co-present a 3-hour, ICC-accredited education session focusing on the digital transformation of code review processes performed by government jurisdictions.
The course, titled "Transitioning to the 2D/3D Digital Review Process - Going Paperless," marks the first ICC-sanctioned training that specifically addresses code officials, the benefits of digital tools and methods, and the need to drastically reduce and even eliminate paper from the code-check and plan review process. Fiatech RSC members Avolve Software and Solibri LLC co-authored the course with support from Target Corporation, the corporate sponsor for education at the ICC 2012 Annual Business Meeting, and also a Fiatech RSC member. Several U.S. jurisdictions have achieved virtual, "zero-paper" status by applying digital technology to their plan submission and review practices.
