Impreglon 1st Quarter 2010: Sales + 57%, EBIT + 610%

Net result (TEUR) 634 -676 + 194%
Earnings per share (EUR) 0.10 -0.13 + 181%
2009, gained momentum in the 1st quarter of 2010 and strengthened all
coating segments. A 57% increase in sales improved the utilization of plant
capacities and together with restructuring measures turned EBIT from -3% in
the 1st quarter of 2009 to +9% in 2010. While organic growth contributed
EUR 3.0 million or 2/3 to the increase in sales the smaller acquisitions
effected in 2009 were responsible for EUR 1.5 million.
Since not only the 3 important segments OEM (plant and equipment
manufacturers), Aftermarket (production companies) and Automotive but also
all 18 coating plants report increasing orders in the 1st quarter
management expects further progress for the remainder of 2010. The latest
acquisition of the license and production rights for the Greenkote
Zinkthermodiffusion process as well as additional acquisitions already in
progress will generate additional sales.
Based on the numbers of the 1st quarter management is optimistic to achieve
a record EUR 50 million in sales with a 2-digit EBIT percentage figure for
the full year.
