Edmonton Businesses and Volunteers Provide Services to Those in Need...

(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/18/12 -- Did you know there are 2,421 homeless Edmontonians? Our story began in 2008 with a 10 year action plan, initiated by Mayor Stephen Mandel to end homelessness in Edmonton. Local businesses, agencies and members of the community realized sleeping bags and floor mats were not enough. Something more needed to be done.

Twice a year, , works closely with local organizations and community volunteers to host . is a community- inspired initiative, providing free essential services to people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of becoming homeless. Watch this to see lives change and to see how a community comes together to end homelessness and provides services to those in need.
