itelligence AG increases net profit by 11.9% from MEUR 5.9 to MEUR 6.6 in
the first nine months
Western Europe region delivers strong revenue growth at +39.5%
itelligence confirms forecast for 2012 as a whole
Bielefeld, October 23, 2012 - With the publication of its figures for the
first nine months, itelligence AG is confirming its positive performance in
fiscal year 2012. Total revenues rose by 21.9% to MEUR 292.5 (previous
year: MEUR 239.9), reflecting further strong growth in the itelligence
Group, particularly in the Western Europe segment, which posted an increase
of 39.5% from MEUR 44.6 to MEUR 62.2. This is attributable to past
acquisitions and sound organic development. The DACH segment increased its
revenues by 17.2% to MEUR 133.6 compared with MEUR 114.0 in the first nine
months of the previous year. Eastern Europe also generated substantial
revenue growth of 26.8% to MEUR 19.4 (previous year: MEUR 15.3), whilst the
USA was the second-strongest segment, generating MEUR 69.5 compared with
MEUR 60.3 (+15.3%), and the Asia segment contributed MEUR 5.0 to total
revenues compared with MEUR 2.6 in the previous year (+92.3%).
Herbert Vogel, CEO of itelligence AG: 'We remain fully on target with our
revenue development and are optimistic with regard to the fourth quarter
and fiscal year 2013. As a result of our strong positioning in our core
markets, we expect fiscal year 2012 to be a successful one despite a slight
slowdown in economic growth.'
itelligence AG also saw a further increase in its earnings figures. EBIT
increased by 12.5% from MEUR 11.2 to MEUR 12.6 in the first nine months.
The EBIT margin was 4.3% after 4.7% in the same period of the previous
year. EBIT was impacted by non-recurring acquisition expenses of MEUR 0.9
in the period under review (previous year: MEUR 1.0). Accordingly, net
income for the first nine months also rose by 11.9% from MEUR 5.9 to MEUR
6.6. Earnings per share amounted to EUR 0.20 compared with EUR 0.21 in the
first nine months of 2011 with an increased number of shares following the
capital increase (number of shares: 26,983,036).
Norbert Rotter, CFO of itelligence AG, said: 'SMEs are turning to
itelligence as a long-term partner in the SAP area. This is shown by the
strong organic growth of more than 40% in recurring business with SAP
hosting, maintenance and application management support. itelligence will
invest over MEUR 30 in the expansion of its global business in 2012.'
Following the last increase in its forecasts after the first half-year,
itelligence now expects to generate revenues of between MEUR 400 and MEUR
420 for the year as a whole. The forecast EBIT margin remains unchanged at
6.2-6.4% (before acquisition expenses).
