Touchstone Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/23/12 -- Touchstone Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE: TAB) (the "Company") announces the appointment of Mr. Scott Budau as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Budau received his Bachelor of Commerce with honours from McMaster University in 2002 and has his Chartered Accountant designation which he received in 2005. Mr. Budau joined Touchstone in December 2011 in the role of Manager of Financial Reporting. He has over ten years of financial reporting, corporate income tax and internal controls experience including five years of public company experience. Mr. Budau succeeds Mr. Greg Marr who will be leaving Touchstone to pursue other opportunities.

The companies in which Touchstone Exploration Inc. directly and indirectly owns investments or assets are separate entities. In this news release "Touchstone" is sometimes used for convenience where references are made to Touchstone Exploration Inc. and its subsidiaries in general.
