Technology Services Team Joins Berkeley Research Group
(firmenpresse) - EMERYVILLE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/12 -- Berkeley Research Group, LLC, a leading global expert services and consulting firm, added directors Liam Ferguson and Courtney Fletcher to head the firm's Technology Services practice. They will work across practices with a specialized focus on enhancing the firm's technology services consulting business, including business intelligence, data privacy/security, and complex data analytics. Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Fletcher are based in BRG's Los Angeles and Washington, DC, offices, respectively.
Mr. Ferguson has spent more than 16 years in the consulting industry and brings a wealth of business development and complex data analytics experience, primarily at the intersection of technology and law. He has helped clients improve their data analytics and business intelligence processes through implementation of new technologies and strategies. Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Ferguson was a managing director at a national consulting firm and led its Technology Advisory Services practice, where he created market awareness and secured a thought-leader position by promoting the application of true data analytics to the legal market. Before that, he was a principal at an international expert services and consulting firm, co-leading the Data Acquisition Management and Analysis practice. Mr. Ferguson was also previously a director at a financial advisory and investment banking firm, tasked with the national build-out of its business intelligence design, data analytics, and electronic-discovery service offerings.
Mr. Fletcher built a similar skill set and record of success through years of experience with eDiscovery and legal technology services. He previously co-led (with Mr. Ferguson) the Data Acquisition Management and Analysis practice at an international expert services and consulting firm, where he counseled clients on complex litigation and large-scale investigative matters. His experience improving processes through eDiscovery and technology goes back further to his work at a global consulting firm, where he advised attorneys in developing customized tools to improve review and production of electronic data. Mr. Fletcher also held technology-related positions at Perot Systems, Inc. and APS Healthcare, Inc.
