EdgeHill Partners Acquires Common Shares of Hana Mining Ltd.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/25/12 -- EdgeHill Partners ("EdgeHill") announced that accounts managed and advised by it has acquired (the "Acquisition") 5,400,200 common shares ("Shares") of Hana Mining Ltd. ("Hana") through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange subsequent to a press release announcing the entering into of a definitive agreement between Hana and Cupric Canyon Capital LP ("Cupric") being disseminated and filed on SEDAR on October 24, 2012 pursuant to which Cupric has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding Shares of Hana.
Prior to October 24, 2012, EdgeHill owned 1,599,800 Shares. As a result of the Acquisition, EdgeHill now exercises control and direction over an aggregate of 7,000,000 Shares, representing approximately 7.04% of the outstanding Shares based on 99,493,597 issued and outstanding Shares as of September 27, 2012 as reported in Hana's management's discussion and analysis dated September 27, 2012.
The Shares of Hana were acquired for investment purposes only. Depending on market conditions and other factors, EdgeHill may from time to time acquire additional securities of Hana or dispose of such securities in the open market, by private agreement or otherwise.
