Seniors Helping Seniors of Northern Colorado, a Senior Care Provider, Sponsors Veterans Celebration at Pathways Hospice
(firmenpresse) - FORT COLLINS, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/12 -- Seniors Helping Seniors of Northern Coloradoa compassionate company, is sponsoring a Veteran's Celebration on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. All members of the Fort Collins and northern Colorado community are invited to attend the free indoor event at Pathways Hospice's Administrative Office and Grief Counseling Center at 305 Carpenter Road in Fort Collins. The purpose of the event is to individually and collectively recognize the considerable contributions made by all U.S. military veterans.
Linda Gabel of Seniors Helping Seniors of Northern Colorado, a senior care organization, says, "According to Larimer County's website, around 23,000 veterans resided in Larimer County just a few years ago. At Seniors Helping Seniors we thought, 'What better opportunity is there to support our country's military veterans than by celebrating their lives with the local non-profit Pathways Hospice?' As a provider, we are proud of all of our veterans, whether they classify themselves as seniors or young."
The Veterans Celebration is a recognition event designed to celebrate the lives of millions of men and women who have served their country. The ceremony, hosted by the non-profit Pathways Hospice, will include an Air Force ROTC color guard, National Anthem, a reading of the names, an inspirational guest speaker and post-event reception.
