Stefan Hock (53) is to stand down from the Board of Directors of Baader
Bank effective from 30 April 2010. Mr. Hock's contract, which runs to 31
December 2010, will not be renewed under mutual agreement with the
Supervisory Board. Mr. Hock joined the Board of Directors at Baader Bank on
1 May 2000, taking responsibility for the Capital Market Services division
which will be managed by Nico Baader in future. The Chairman of Baader
Bank's Supervisory Board, Horst Schiessl, thanked Mr. Hock for his
dedication and hard work. 'Mr. Hock has proven himself as a capital markets
expert for the SME segment', commented Mr. Schiessl in Unterschleissheim.
During his time on the Board of Directors, Mr. Hock built up Baader Bank's
capital market services and restructured the division to focus more closely
on the needs of SME customers. Under his management Baader Bank supported
165 capital measures of various types, including 55 IPOs.
After studying economics in Munich, from September 1985 Mr. Hock worked at
Société Générale in Frankfurt, where his activities focused on the credit
business, structured finance and the securities syndication business. On 1
October 2008 he took up the role as head of the Corporate Finance division
at Baader Bank.
