BMO Bank of Montreal Opens New Branch in Fast-Growing City of Brampton-Open Seven Days a Week
- New BMO branch represents a $1.5 million investment in the community - Offering customers extended banking hours, including Saturdays and Sundays - 'Making Money Make Sense' in six different languages
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/12 -- BMO Bank of Montreal today announced the opening of its new full-service banking branch, located in the heart of the rapidly growing city of Brampton at 8950 Hwy 50.
The new branch offers customers extended banking hours seven days a week, and is designed to provide a great banking experience through a variety of financial services and conveniences, including:
"Brampton's population and expanding infrastructure is creating many employment and business opportunities," said Sandy Wason, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. "To serve the needs of this growing community, we are thrilled to be opening the doors to our new Brampton branch."
According to BMO Economics, Brampton is one the fastest-growing cities in Canada; the population has expanded almost 21 per cent in the five years through 2011, compared with less than 6 per cent nationally. "This robust population growth is in part due to a diverse and centrally-located economy, and is supporting ongoing housing development," said Robert Kavcic, Economist, BMO Capital Markets.
To celebrate, customers who open a new Primary Chequing Account with a Performance Plan between November 3 and December 31, 2012 will receive $150 deposited into their new account.
