Geoffrey Connor Joins GreenWorld Restoration(TM) as General Counsel
(firmenpresse) - AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/05/12 -- GreenWorld Restoration is pleased to announce the addition of Geoffrey Connor as General Counsel.
Geoff served as Texas Secretary of State 2003-2005. He had previously served as Deputy Secretary of State, Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture, General Counsel of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and as a senior aide to former Governor William P. Clements, Jr.
In the private sector, Geoff worked for the international law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, and later for the law firm Jackson Walker. In both firms, Geoff represented a variety of clients in administrative, energy, environmental, immigration and international law matters.
Geoff serves on the advisory boards of the Asia Society and Global Austin. He is president of the Chancellors Council of the Texas State University System, and a past director of the Texas Lyceum. He is also a member of the Austin Council on Foreign Affairs.
