Implant Sciences Wins Defense Contract in Middle East

(firmenpresse) - WILMINGTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/12/12 -- Continuing its penetration into the Middle East market, (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced it has sold four handheld explosives trace detection systems to the military branch of a Middle Eastern nation.

The sale was made by Bahrain-based , Implant Sciences' international distributor. BDS provides intelligent telecommunications systems and security solutions for critical corporate and government infrastructure. BDS has sold technology used by national governments, oil companies, and blue chip organizations in Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Europe and the U.S.

Built with no radioactive materials and featuring a low-maintenance, self-calibrating, and self-clearing design, the QS-H150 provides very high levels of operational availability. The QS-H150 has been proven to perform well in a wide variety of temperatures and challenging environments, from humid jungles to dry, sand swept deserts.



Implant Sciences develops, manufactures and sells sophisticated sensors and systems for Security, Safety, and Defense (SS&D) markets.
