Andrew Harries Joins Bsquare Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - BELLEVUE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/13/12 -- (NASDAQ: BSQR), a leading enabler of smart, connected devices, today announced that Andrew Harries has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. With the addition of Mr. Harries, the Bsquare Board of Directors is comprised of seven members.
"Andrew's wireless industry and software background gives him outstanding experience to provide Bsquare with strategic guidance as we execute on our key growth initiatives," stated Ren Jurgensen, chairman of the Bsquare Board of Directors. Mr. Harries was a co-founder of Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR), a NASDAQ-listed wireless devices and applications vendor and served as Sierra's Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations. Mr. Harries also was the co-founder of Zeugma Systems Inc. where he served as the President and CEO until Tellabs acquired substantially all of the company in November 2010. During his career, Mr. Harries has also held a variety of positions at Motorola Inc., and currently runs his own advisory and consulting practice. Mr. Harries holds a Master of Business Administration, Marketing and Finance from Simon Fraser University.
