Eminata Group Chairman Peter Chung and Wife Stephanie Donate $100,000 Scholarship Fund to Trinity Western University
Scholarship Fund Donated in Memory of Their Son, Joseph

Executive Chairman Peter Chung and his wife, Dr. Stephanie Chung, have donated a $100,000 to Trinity Western University in memory of their late son, Joseph. The fund will be used to provide scholarships to students wishing to complete a degree in Special Education.
Joseph Chung had multiple disabilities, including autism and epilepsy, but was best known for the joy he brought others. The Chungs hope their donation will help others pursue the education that Joseph was unable to.
"Joseph was our eldest child and as parents, we had dedicated Joseph's life to God at conception," said Dr. Chung, "Even though he touched this world in his own unique way, Joseph could not pursue post-secondary education due to the obstacles placed in his path. Now as a family, we pray that others can work hard and study so that they may walk the path that Joseph could not."
Trinity Western University is proud to accept the donation and knows the scholarships will make a difference in many students' lives.
"We are extremely grateful to Drs. Peter and Stephanie Chung. They have chosen to leave a lasting legacy at TWU through the Joseph Chung Scholarships," said President Jonathan S. Raymond, Ph.D. "Students pursuing education degrees with a focus in special education will be encouraged to make a difference because of the Chungs' desire to help others in memory of their beloved son Joseph."
