Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 1,729,310 Ahold common shares
in the period from May, 03, 2010 up to and including May, 07, 2010. The shares
were repurchased at an average price of ? 10.0176 per share for a total
consideration of ? 17.32 million. These repurchases were made as part of the ?
500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 5,705,214
common shares for a total consideration of ? 57,99 million.
