NewsBox Users Now Have a Simplified and More Organized Dashboard to Manage Content and Distribution on NewsBox
(firmenpresse) - BALTIMORE, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 11/21/12 -- Continuing to improve their news sharing and distribution service, NewsBox.com today announced that their news hosting, sharing and distribution platform has a new dashboard.
The NewsBox platform, launched in September, allows organizations of all sizes to host, share and distribute news, press releases and articles to NewsBox subscribers and publishers including journalists, investors, members of their organizations and a growing number of general NewsBox subscribers.
Revised features include the ability to post updates and grow followers. The new update feature allows users to share short snippets of news up to 250 characters and share with followers or, to submit full length releases and articles.
Built on cloud-hosted technology, NewsBox gives users the ability to host content including news releases, graphics and more and share that content over social networks, link from an existing website(s) and measure the results in a simple easy-to-use web based application.

NewsBox was launched in September 2012, created by Connectus, a software company in Baltimore, Maryland. Originally created in 2004, Connectus created an online directory to provide businesses of all sizes with a way to publish content online. The service evolved and became PRSafe, an online press release distribution application. In September 2012, PRSafe was rebranded and launched as NewsBox.com.
The NewsBox service is used by thousands of organizations of all sizes to host and distribute content as a way to get more visibility.
