Within its zedas® product family, PC-Soft presents its zedas®asset and zedas®cargo system solutions with a practical example of a mining plant with integrated transport management.
(firmenpresse) - Senftenberg, June 8, 2009 – “We want to make things happen with technology and innovation.” – That’s one of the aspirations of the PC-Soft GmbH system house based in Senftenberg in Brandenburg.
As it has done in past years, PC-Soft GmbH is participating this year in a wide variety of events including the Hannover Messe Industrie (Hanover Industrial Exhibition) and the transport logistic in Munich.
“Stand out instead of breaking down” – That's one of the guiding principles of the zedas® product family. As part of the celebration of the 20th company birthday in 2010, we at PC-Soft want to be one of the leaders. By utilizing synergies and bundling know-how, we will demonstrate that we are well prepared for the new tasks and challenges of the future.
Mine it – Move it – Use it
Based upon its involvement in a wide range of international activities, comprehensive process know-how and a suitable system platform, PC-Soft will comprehensively demonstrate its performance capabilities for the first time with the new system solution “Supply Chain Management powered by zedas®”.
In doing so, PC-Soft supports the entire range of the value-added chain with its zedas® product family – from exploitation of raw materials via strip/underground mining to conveyor transport to the logistics center, over kilometers of track systems, to a central logistical reloading point or loading equipment in the harbors.
Optimum Approach
PC-Soft has recognized the trends and utilizes equipment system weaknesses to develop better products. And so the well-established, Lausitz-based company developed a tool called zedas®asset that has been designed to meet the requirements of customers and partners in the fields of technical asset management and maintenance. Its primary focus is to increase the reliability and availability of mining equipment as well as to reduce life cycle costs (LCC).
CMS meets PAM
Bundling competence and capitalizing on synergies – to benefit our customers. What makes more sense than to integrate existing system solutions such as Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS) as a subsystem into the zedas® system landscape? CMS meets PAM - That’s the guiding principle for one of the largest integration concepts that have been developed at PC-Soft. But other modern solutions such as zedas®asset “Service Solution” also help our customers to flexibly lead teams and optimally operate equipment – anytime, anywhere.
Added Value
In doing so, during the course of this year’s events, the “Door to the Future” was opened wide, and international professionals were able to take a closer look at new developments including the new zedas® asset Cockpit in practical use.
