AND strengthens partnership with Navmii

Navmii GPS Live now also available for Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland
Rotterdam, 11 May 2010 - AND Automotive Navigation Data has strengthened its
partnership with Navmii following the successful introduction of Navmii GPS Live
for the Netherlands, France, Spain and Germany. AND has now delivered maps for
Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland which are available in iTunes with Navmii
GPS Live.
Less than one month after the availability of the Navmii GPS Live in iTunes the
app was downloaded more than 40,000 times reaching number one positions across
all paid for applications in France and the Netherlands as well as gaining
significant market share in Spain and Germany. The app has started to create
disruption on the market in rising to the five top grossing applications.
AND-Chief Executive Officer Maarten Oldenhof: "We have always said that
navigation will be available for everyone for a radical low price and we are
happy that 3 new countries are available. We expect to add navigation for other
countries in Western Europe shortly. At the end of 2010 coverage of all Western
Europe countries is expected."
Peter Atalla, Chief Executive Officer of Navmii said: "With the launch of Navmii
GPS Live, we are radically changing the cost people have to pay for fully
functioning GPS Navigation on the iPhone. Turn-by-turn navigation has been
priced far too high. We are glad that we now offer 3 more countries in
continental Europe for less than the cost of a paper map."
The iPhone application is available under the Navmii GPS Live brand and now also
provides turn-by-turn navigation for Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The
Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain are available since the 2nd week of
April. Users can search for an address by city, street, house or postcode and
are instantly routed there with voiced directions. Navmii will re-route if you
take a wrong turn and provides information on the journey distance, estimated
time of arrival, points of interest and live search for local facilities with
integrated search. The new application can also be used with the iPad and the
Ipod.
AND is the third largest supplier in its market, but the only independent one.
Strengthened by its success to date, the company will continue to focus on
creating long-term value for shareholders by providing digital maps for
location-based services. The company focuses on the further development of its
advanced database to position itself even more effectively in the market. The
required investments can be financed entirely from the company's own capital.
