Willkie Frankfurt advises UBS on Colonia Real Estate AG's convertible bonds
issue
Colonia Real Estate AG, Cologne has offered to its shareholders for
subscription from April 22, 2010 to May 5, 2010 an issue of convertible
bonds due 2015. This transaction was hence one of the few convertible
bonds issues in the German market in the course of which the convertible
bonds were offered to the shareholders for subscription. The convertible
bonds are valued at approximately EUR11.4 million. A coupon of 5.875% p.a.,
a redemption price of 115.9419% and a gross yield to maturity of 8.500%
p.a. have been set on the basis of a book-building procedure. The
convertible bonds are intended to be listed on the Open Market
(Freiverkehr) segment of the Frankfurt stock exchange.
With approximately 19,000 residential units and EUR2.1 billion in assets
under management, Colonia Real Estate AG is one of the leading listed real
estate investment and management companies in Germany.
