Financial results - revenues and profits
Ekornes generated gross operating revenues of NOK 785.7 million in the first
quarter 2010, a rise of NOK 90.4 million or 13.0 per cent compared with 2009.
The underlying increase in gross revenues, excluding changes in exchange rates,
was, however, 15.6 per cent.
The Group made a consolidated operating profit of NOK 155.4 million (19.8 per
cent) in the year to 31 March 2010, compared with NOK 108.0 million (15.5 per
cent) in 2009, an increase of 43.9 per cent. Profit before tax totalled NOK
154.2 million (19.6 per cent), compared with NOK 87.3 million (12.5 per cent) in
2009, an increase of 66.9 million or 76.6 per cent. Net profit totalled NOK
108.0 million, compared with NOK 60.6 million in 2009. This corresponds to
earnings per share of NOK 2.93, compared with NOK 1.65 in 2009.
