Joomla! CMS Downloads Surpass 36 Million
Adoption of Joomla Content Management System for Websites, Blogs and Intranets Grows 27 Percent From November 2011 to November 2012

The organization attributes the continued growth in the number of individuals, companies and organizations using the CMS to:
-- Joomla 3.0 launched in September 2012 completely optimizing the CMS for mobile devices.
-- More than 1,500 Joomla extensions have been introduced since November 2011. These extensions developed by Joomla's community of thousands of developers provide added features not found in the core Joomla CMS. -- Joomla powers about 3,100 government agencies' websites, blogs and Intranets.
