Rejlers participates to improve the environment in Svappavaara

Rejlers has been contracted to participate in the design when LKAB is investing
in a new plant for the purification of flue gases in Svappavaara. In connection
with the assignment Rejlers open an office in Gällivare.
LKAB is investing in a new plant for the purification of flue gases in
Svappavaara to continue to reduce its environmental impact. In addition to
purification of the flue gases you also take advantage of the energy in the flue
gas and return it to the process. LKAB already has the world's most climate-
smart iron ore products with the lowest energy consumption for pellet
production. With flue gas purification in all pelletizing plants the
environmental impact reduces even further.
Rejlers has been contracted by LKAB to participate in the design of the plant
and will be responsible for process design, ventilation, cooling, electricity,
automation and mechanical engineering. Rejlers has also been contracted to
manage the layout coordination and the safety work of the machines. The contract
will employ eight to ten people in the period until autumn 2013 when the first
phase is estimated to be ready.
In connection with the assignment Rejlers establish an office in Gällivare where
the company initially employs one person.
