Award-Winning Turkish Filmmaker Wins Kaplan Instagram Competition

, a leading provider of , are pleased to announce that the latest winner of the #KaplanExperience Instagram competition is an award-winning filmmaker from Turkey.
Eray Dinc, from Istanbul, is currently studying an intensive English course at Kaplan's in Oxford and won the weekly Instagram competition with a photo of an autumnal street scene.
The 24-year-old student has won 13 awards for his short films at prestigious events such as the Istanbul Short Film Festival and Kaplan's judges decided that his #KaplanExperience photo entry was the winner due to the exquisite way he was able to capture autumn colours.
The weekly #KaplanExperience Instagram competition encourages students to practice their digital photography skills while cataloguing their exciting English learning journey in another country.
Hazel Francis, Kaplan's social media assistant, said: "We're so happy with how much interest there has been surrounding our #KaplanExperience competition. Since the launch, we've had over 3000 entries and we've seen a real eclectic mix of talent.
"It's great to see so many students sharing their experiences with us from all over the world, especially someone as established as Eray! I look forward to seeing more photos from his time in Oxford."
Eray decided to in Oxford with for work purposes as he occasionally attends the International Film Festival and needs to be able to explain his short films to the judges and audience members.
He plans to stay in Oxford until April 2013 and create a short film mixing comedy and fantasy about a student who forgets their own language when they are not speaking English.
Kaplan students can enter the #KaplanExperience competition by taking an Instagram photo and tagging it with the #KaplanExperience hashtag. The winner is selected by a panel of judges and the prize is $100 of Amazon vouchers.
