By the Numbers: This Quarter at the Border
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/04/12 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today released for the second quarter of the 2012/2013 fiscal year. These numbers, covering the period of July through September 2012, demonstrate the hard work done by our officers to uphold the CBSA's mandate and core values.
Nearly 31 million travellers crossed Canada's borders this summer in more than 10 million vehicles, and nearly 100,000 aircraft. The country's waterways were also busy this summer as the CBSA processed more than 70,000 vessels.

These successes are a point of pride for the Agency and serve to demonstrate the commitment, dedication, expertise and professionalism of our officers as they carry out the CBSA's mandate on a daily basis.
