The Nagel Group, which includes food logistics among its specialities, has
acquired parts of the insolvent logistics group Friedrich Schulze. A Noerr
team led by the Munich corporate lawyer Dr. Florian Becker advised the
insovency administrator of the Schulze Group, Sebastian Laboga of the law
firm Kübler, on the sale of the food tank transport division and parts of
the logistics centres in Halle and Emleben. The Schulze Group had to apply
for insolvency in August 2008 and the business has continued since then
within the insolvency.
Among the companies rescued by the Noerr specialists from crisis or
insolvency are the following:
- the market leader for textile dyes Dystar,
- caravan and travel furniture manufacturer Knaus-Tabbert,
- the aircraft manufacturer Grob Aerospace,
- the filling station network of the Lomo oil company,
- the fashion companies Escada (preparation and structuring of the
reorganised transfer) and Rosner,
- the graphic division of the insolvent semi-conductor manufacturer
Qimonda, including the production facilities in Portugal
- the Scheufelen paper factory
- the engineering company Billhöfer by direct investment of a Ukrainian
group
- a number of divisions of the automotive supplier Aksys
- Henniges Automotive Grefrath GmbH&Co. KG by an innovative joint
venture structure for the entry of an Asian investor
- a leading food group
