New RBE221s Industrial Bluetooth Access Point
Bückeburg, 7 December 2012 – At the SPS/IPC/Drives trade fair which ended a few days ago (Nuremberg, 27-29 November), the Swedish Bluetooth specialist connectBlue presented the RBE221s Bluetooth access point. The new product replaces the BTWNP331s wireless network platform which is no longer available.
(firmenpresse) - The new RBE221s Bluetooth access point provides access to 10/100Base-T Ethernet networks for Bluetooth devices. Up to seven simultaneous point-to-multipoint connections are supported. Depending on the performance of the connected devices, a range of up to 300m and overall data rate for all devices up to 1 mbps are possible.
The RBE221s access point includes the PANU (Personal Area Network User) and NAP (Network Access Point) profiles. It is configured using the “SMART-button” system, an integrated web interface or the SNMP protocol.

The new RBE221s Bluetooth access point will be available starting in January 2013 at the unit price of EUR 349.-. For cable connections (M8 Ethernet cable) and the power supply, SE offers suitable solutions from its supplier Harting.
