Mixed-Use Development Will Create Live-Work-Play Community

The Aconex cloud-based collaboration platform will be used to accelerate delivery of the mega-project by streamlining communications and information exchange among all project team members.

KIC is a mixed-use development which will create a modern "live-work-play community" with office, retail, residential, entertainment, and recreational facilities. Located in Shanghai's Yang Pu district, the development will cover 84 hectares.

Shui On Land anticipates that hundreds of thousands of drawings, documents and correspondence items will be exchanged by team members around the world during the project's design and construction phases. The Aconex online collaboration platform will enable all participants to instantly access, distribute, track, and archive their information, using one secure, neutral, centralized system.
