Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Cermaq ASA was held on the 20th of May 2010.The
General Meeting approved to distribute a dividend of NOK 1.50 per share for
2009. The dividend will be treated as the repayment of paid-in capital. The
dividend will be paid on 2 June 2010 to the company's shareholders as per 20 May
2010, and the share will then be listed exclusive of dividend from 21 May 2010
onwards.

The General Meeting granted the Board of Directors proxy to acquire own shares
up to a total nominal value of NOK 46,250,000, however, in such a way, that the
company's total holding of own shares must not at any time exceed 5 percent of
the outstanding shares in the company. Mr Bård Mikkelsen, member of the Board of
Directors, was reelected for a period of two years.

The Board's proposal for amendment of the Articles of Association was adopted
unaltered by the General Meeting.
