Vancouver, British Columbia, December 17, 2012 - Tajiri Resources (TSXV:TAJ) has
released the balance of the results from its November lithological sampling
program at the Kaburi PL Gold Property in Guyana, South America.

The company's 100% owned Kaburi Gold Property, located approximately 160
kilometres southwest of the Guyana capital of Georgetown, covers approximately
6,400 acres.
This area of South America has the same geology as the West African Shield on
the other side of the Atlantic. The Guiana Shield hosts known resources of more
than 100 million ounces of gold, including many world class deposits such as El
Callo with18 million ounces, Las Christinas with 17 million ounces, and
Newmont's Nassau with 10 million ounces gold.
Australia-based Azimuth Resources (ASX:AZH) (TSX:AZH) recently released a NI
43-101 compliant inferred resource of 1.22 million ounces at 3.1 grams per tonne
gold from its West Omai projects. Tajiri's property is contiguous on all sides
to the tenements of the West Omai Project.
Tajiri submitted a total of 187 samples for assay of which 158 were panels taken
predominantly from the faces of abandoned alluvial pits and related workings,
with the other 29 samples consisting of float/grab samples. Results from the
158 panel samples ranged from trace to 15.3 grams per tonne with an average of
0.51 grams per tonne.
Management was excited by both the grade and the hard-rock source from which
they were derived, and views these results as marking a major milestone in the
ongoing definition and delineation of a newly discovered gold mineralization
system within the Kaburi PL Gold Property.
In addition, the location from which the majority of the panel samples were
taken falls centrally within the recently discovered "Seer" gold-in-soil
anomaly, which is 3 kilometres by 1 kilometre in size, and punctuated by assay
values of up to 2.66 grams per tonne gold.
The company has completed additional work towards final definition of targets,
which will be drilled as soon as reasonably practical, with results from this
completed part of the program expected by the first quarter of 2013.
The nearby Amalia Hydro Project took another important step towards
construction, following the
signing of an Engineering Procurement and Construction agreement in September.
Although funding remains to be finalized, the advancement of the Amalia Hydro
Project would provide a significant infrastructure advantage to Tajiri.
The company recently raised gross proceeds of $425,000 from the sale of $0.05
units.
The shares currently trade at $0.04, and with approximately 41 million shares
outstanding, the company is capitalized at $1.6 million.
