(firmenpresse) - BREA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/18/12 -- Management Technologies () has announced the availability of their popular Earned Value Professional™ (EVP™) study guide as an on-line exam study tool. This product complements their spiral bound and downloadable (pdf) versions.
According to the author and company president, Ray W. Stratton, PMP, EVP, "The widespread portable availability of internet access provides a means for people to study for this challenging exam using tablets and other portable computing devices. Our Study Guide now makes use of this opportunity." The Study Guide consists of over 250 questions and answers and is designed to help candidates focus their study on their weaker areas.
Ray Stratton's Earned Value Professional (EVP) Study Guide was first published in a bound edition in 2008. In 2010 a pdf downloadable product was developed to address the challenges in shipping to worldwide customers. Over 500 Study Guides have helped candidates pass one of the most challenging project management certification exams. Just over 600 individuals worldwide hold the EVP certification. The five hour exam pass rate is 56% (2011 data).
The EVP certification is administered by AACE International, Inc. (). Major US corporations have recognized that a cadre of EVP certified staff is a market discriminator in addressing US Government opportunities requiring the application of EVM. Individuals holding the EVP certification are recognized for their deep understanding of EVM principles and their experience in the application of EVM.
