Traverse Energy Ltd. Grants Stock Options

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/19/12 -- Traverse Energy Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: TVL) ("Traverse") announces that it granted stock options to its directors and officers to purchase 405,000 common shares with an exercise price of $0.60 per share and an expiry date 5 years from the date of grant. The options granted vest immediately upon grant. The total number of options outstanding as of the date hereof is 4,430,000.

Traverse is a junior oil and natural gas exploration and production company in Alberta. The common shares of Traverse are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "TVL".
