Tofuture Oy (2future) has been awarded the status of the first Certified
Training Partner in the Nordic countries by Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
The Certified Training Program aims to disseminate knowledge on sustainability
reporting around the world. It has been developed especially to help report
makers and users to more effectively use the GRI Framework and GRI reports.
"This is an excellent recognition for 2future's long term activities in training
and educating the report makers and users" says Mr. Mikael Niskala, Head of
2future Sustainability Academy. "The GRI Certificate supports our role as a
respected provider for services related to the Corporate Responsibility and
Sustainability area. Our Sustainability Academy has provided Corporate
Sustainability Training in Finland already for ten years, and now it is time to
expand our Training services to all Nordic Countries".
2future has started organizing the GRI Certified Training Program in May 2010
and the first courses were held in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen. The
courses in Oslo start in June.
