E-Mobility of the next generation: attractive design, functional, easy to use
A world debut in the field of two-wheelers, the FEDDZ features a catching design combined with speed, on an absolutely ecologic platform. The all electric scooter, FEDDZ, sets new standards in the e–mobility for years to come.
The Feddz: attractive design, functional, easy to use (firmenpresse) - What is the FEDDZ?
The FEDDZ is a completely new electric scooter with a brushless rear wheel hub motor. Construction and design originate in the city of Biberach/Riss in the South of Germany.
Experts call it a sensational design: the aluminum lightweight construction of only 33 kilograms including a transport box. Its easily detachable battery can be charged on any household socket. The FEDDZ’s total weight including battery is a mere 44.5 kilograms.
Motor and Battery
The Austrian partner GreenRoad developed the drive system, the battery and the control electronics.
A rechargeable lithium-ion battery of the latest generation and the BMS (Battery Management System) that was designed especially for the FEDDZ, guarantee a high level of safety and a long lifetime of the battery. With a weight of only 11.5 kilograms, the battery is easy to handle for any user and thus highly attractive.
Plus: the battery power lasts for approximately 110 km under normal operating conditions!
Charging the battery
Simply insert the battery and go; with a small charger, the detachable FEDDZ battery can be charged from any household socket, be it on the third floor of a big city apartment, in a café around the corner or in the office right beside the PC – complicated was yesterday, today is FEDDZ.
The battery is fully charged after approx. four hours.
Models
There are two versions of this model: equipped with the ECO battery, the FEDDZ runs approximately 70 kilometers, with the Premium battery, the cruising range goes up to approximately 110 km.
On top: even more environmental awareness and an awesome driving experience
The FEDDZ goes without any lubricants. Due to its purely alternative electric drive, the FEDDZ runs at a low noise-level and without any carbon dioxide emissions.
The "fast electric drive dymanicz" opens up all new perspectives to its drivers: speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour from the rear wheel hub motor, infinitely adjustable (but with three speed levels), quiet running and a maximum range.
All New Revolutionary Design
The FEDDZ does not look like just another motor scooter or e-scooter in disguise – it is a totally new development.
According to the experts, the FEDDZ could become the “Smartphone” in the world of two-wheelers.
The 44.5 kilogram aluminum frame makes the FEDDZ much more light-weight than any conventional e-scooter.
Awards
On the eCarTecAward 2012, the FEDDZ was nominated for the Bavarian State Prize for Electric Mobility 21 in the category "Electric Vehicle: Motor Scooter".

Two models, different in range:
For a FEDDZ with a range of approximately 70 km: EUR 5,990
For a FEDDZ with a range of approximately 110 km: EUR 6,990
Leasing and Insurance: EUR 99.- per month, all inclusive
Delivery
Development time was two years and the roll-out took place in September 2011 at the eCarTec in Munich. In December 2012, the FEDDZ goes into production – start of delivery: End of March/Avril 2013.
