A number of stocks were upgraded and downgraded by equities research analysts

and Equity Brief:
BMO Capital Markets downgraded shares of Arctic Cat Inc. (ACAT) from an
outperform rating to a market perform rating. Their analysts now have a $40.00
price target on the stock, down previously from $50.00.
Wells Fargo & Co. upgraded shares of Access Midstream Partners LP (ACMP) from a
market perform rating to an outperform rating. They noted that the move was a

Morgan Stanley upgraded shares of Ameren Co. (AEE) from an equal weight rating
to an overweight rating. Morgan Stanley now has a $37.50 price target on the
stock.
Cowen initiated coverage on shares of Aegerion Pharmaceuticals (AEGR). They
issued an outperform rating on the stock.
Barclays Capital reiterated its equal weight rating on shares of Apollo
Investment Corp. (AINV). They have a $9.00 price target on the stock.
Guggenheim initiated coverage on shares of AUTOLIV INC (ALV). They issued a
neutral rating on the stock.
Zacks reiterated its neutral rating on shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
They have a $2.75 price target on the stock. Zacks' analyst wrote, "AMD is the
second largest producer of microprocessors, GPUs and chipsets in the world. Its
third quarter earnings missed estimates, impacted by the macro slowdown and
inventory rebalancing related to the Win-8 launch. At the same time, Intel
remains a strong competitor with superior strategy, technological prowess and
the clout that may be expected of the market leader. While AMD has had some
success, wresting significant market share from Intel will be difficult,
particularly at high-end categories. Competition from ARM is also expected to
increase. Of course, its new products, strength in graphics, advancements in
32nm manufacturing and position in China remain long-term positives. We are
reiterating our Neutral rating on AMD shares."
BMO Capital Markets initiated coverage on shares of Allied Nevada Gold Corp
(ANV). They issued an underperform rating on the stock.
Deutsche Bank reiterated its hold rating on shares of Apache (APA). They have a
$110.00 price target on the stock, up previously from $90.00.
