Pennant Announces Results of AGM

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/08/13 -- Pennant Energy Inc. ("Pennant" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PEN) is pleased to announce that all resolutions presented at the Company's annual and special general meeting held on December 21, 2012 were approved by shareholders of the Company. Those resolutions included the appointment of Garth Braun, James L. Harris, David Finn and James Britton as directors, the appointment of Charlton & Company as auditors, the approval of the Company's Stock Option Plan and the increase in Company's authorized share capital to an unlimited number of common shares.

By completing the terms of a farm in agreement with Donnybrook Energy Inc., Pennant earned 25 per cent of Donnybrook's interest in the Bigstone lands and in any future operations within an area of mutual interest.
