Founded in 1976 and based in Louisiana, Centaur Records () is one of the oldest and largest independent classical music labels in the US. Its recordings span an extremely wide range of repertoire, from Lassus to electro-acoustic music, from classical pops and crossover to Brahms, Grieg and Mozart.
First trademarked in 1932, Supraphon () is based in the Czech Republic and has a distinguished history. During the 1930s and 1940s, Supraphon was responsible for helping to spread the fame of Czech classical music with recordings of the works of Bed?ich Smetana, Antonín Dvo?ák, and Leos Janá?ek, as well as other giants of both the Czech and the international music worlds.
