Tieto broadens Open Source solutions through Red Hat Advanced Partner Program

Tieto and Red Hat, the world's leading provider of open source solutions, have
collaborated to advance open source offerings. Tieto is the first Finnish
organization to join Red Hat's Advanced Partner program. This partnership will
also cover Sweden, Denmark and other major European markets and will enable
Tieto to offer value-added IT services combined with Red Hat's enterprise class
open source middleware and platform solutions. Customers will benefit from more
accessible and cost effective technology.
Tieto has over 3000 open source professionals and more than 10 years of relevant
IT service experience, enabling it to establish a global technology practice to
deliver open source solutions and services. Together with Red Hat, Tieto's Open
Source Centre of Excellence is currently building an open source technology
stack to offer customers cost-saving IT solutions.
Tieto and Red Hat are developing joint open source migration programs to
facilitate migration from legacy and proprietary software to open source
solutions. Collaborating with Red Hat has offered Tieto the support necessary to
develop high quality, customer-centric services with the latest open source
technology.
